Reinventing yourself

One of the most precious things in life (and most people don't realize) is that you can reinvent yourself at any moment.  It takes courage to take the plunge, but looking back from the other side of the plunge, I can promise you it will make you feel accomplished even if the end result is not what you expected.  No regrets motivates me every day.  I try to do what my heart tells me to do even if sometimes I fall down on my knees discouraged, exhausted or just broken-hearted.  No regrets.

A few months ago I took the step (with the help of my boss) to quit my day job and go all in painting full time.  The decision coincided with the finishing touches to my new studio in our old garage.  Serenditpity...?  I like to think so.  Losing my day job gave me the opportunity to paint more in my beautiful new studio but also the pressure of making a living selling my art.  Again, reinventing myself and I'm okay with that.

Having more time to express myself has given me the time to delve deep into my creation of sacred hearts.  They have taken a different feeling, look, depth.  I continue to push the envelope, to get my deep (and sometimes crazy) thoughts and ideas out onto the canvas.  I like where it's going and still I know I can't wait to push it further.....
